Hello friends, today I am going to share with you a delicious healthy daal recipe without oil – Jhinge Masoor Daal / Ridge Gourd and Red Lentil Daal / Turai ki Dal

Ingredients

1 cup masoor daal / red Lentil

250g ridge gourd pieces (peel off)

4 medium tomato pieces

2 medium chopped onions

1 tbsp chopped garlic

1 tbsp chopped ginger

2 chopped green chillies

1 tsp sugar

1 tsp Salt

1/2 tsp turmeric powder

1 bayleaf

3 cup of water

Steps:

1. Wash masoor dal (Red Lentil) thoroughly and then soak in water for 1 hour & then drained and take in a bowl

2. Add one by one – chopped green chillies, chopped ginger, chopped garlic, chopped onions, salt, turmeric powder.

3. Mix all well with dal

4. Then put 1 bayleaf in this bowl

5. Now boil 3 cups of water. Here I used drained water of soaked dal ..Because it is full of nutrients.

6. Add dal mixture, tomato pieces, ridge gourd pieces ( peeled off) into this boiled water.

7. Mix well

8. Cover on simmer flame for 20- 25 minutes

9. Add 1 tsp sugar

10. After sugar is melted..off the flame

11. Serve with rice / roti / parantha

SERVE: 4

TIME: 20 MINUTES
