It’s to do with production of insulin in response to starch/sugar in food. … So, actually excess insulin is sloshing in the blood which makes the sugar level dip further, which makes you feel hungry after eating rice. The more white rice you eat, the more hungry you get and more fat is being accumulated.
Is eating brown rice everyday bad for you?

Why is brown rice so expensive?
With a higher demand for white rice, it is produced in larger quantities and leads to better economies of scale. Thus, brown rice is currently seen as a premium product and is more expensive. The small amount of oil in the bran layer also gives brown rice a shorter shelf-life compared to white rice
